Dream simulation
We, the living beings are driven by stimulation. The
same stimulation that stimulates a girl to like pink and boy to work harder on
himself. Stimulation and need are the two things man hasdone whatever he has
done till now.
A stimulation is something that “makes someone do
something” and that becomes a need when he “cannot achieve it easily”.
Teenagers often confuse between their infatuation and
love. They say, “I need you”, “the precious possession of my life is you”. This
is easily understood after few years or so that that was not love but an
infatuation. So how this infatuation thing works?
It is nothing but the stimuli that starts with
hormone activities that secrets the pleasant effect when we see, hear, smell
something likeable or different. Then start getting into it. When obstacles
come in between we try solve it in order to overcome it. In doing so we involve
ourselves into it. By the time we can judge ourselves how much “really” want
that to please us we already make the “stimuli” a target to achieve. This is
how we end us longing for it- stating it as our “need”.
We experience this in our daily life too. What we are
looking for and what we actually want we confude betwen them. Just by doing
that our brain registers some “stubborn points” those are a “need” but left
unworked upon. You may imagine a stack of jobs to be done in a day, some of
which you know you may not achieve it today but still you stack them u in your
“to-do” list. For some daily routine tasks or for some external issues these
tasks stay stacked in your stack. And these become an obsession for the brain
to complete that task.
Now here how our brain interprets it.Though our
concious mind is happy achieving daily routines of the day our unconcious mind
that deals with the unfulfiling desires or tasks collect those stacked tasks to
work upon. The unconcious mind weaves a same envvironment, weather, smell,
taste, and other identical behaviours from our real life exerience to work
upopn those stacked tasks. For example, suppose a football player on the field
earlier that day attempts to hit a nuckle shot for a free kick but fails, our
unconconcious mind would create a football field, the same goal post that has
rust on the left bar, the mud on the left side of the ground and the orange color
sky from the sunset for the player to practise the nuckle shot over and over
again until the ball goes into the goal. Even if the ball doesn’t go into the
goal your “sleeping instincts” would measure the inch distance by which the
player is missing the goal. On the next try or so the ball would go in the goal
even if he has hit the ball the exact same way he did in his early tries.
So what des it benefits us? You see it is just a
simulation that made the ball go into the goal the last time after your unconcious
mind has measured the distance by which the ball missed the goal even after he
shot it the same way. So this “dream pratise” of his convinced him that he can
actually shoot the nuckle ball into the goal. Thus giving him that confidence
to be on the pitch the next time when he really hits the nuckle ball. Now this
is why they say an athelete should take a long sound sleep after a hard
practice, to perfect their flaws and “gain more confidence about his game”.
General Fear
Dream not only gives us a portal to rectify us but at
times it makes us strong too. Suppose a girl named, Dimple who is afraid of
ghosts and stuffs. She obviously has had experiences in her life which the scared
the hell out of her. That's how she and others have concludedshe is afraid of
ghosts. Her brain surely has registered the notable subjects when she was
afraid, say the partial darkness of room, lit candes, flickering lights, or
even narrow lane down the road.
Dimple's unconcious would certain tend to workk on
this fear of her because there are eeking heights of the attention being drawn
by her brain for fear. Her brain would simulate the sasme subjects for which
she might get afraid of.
Sometimes in dream we see ourselves and are very
certain to point that that person is me whom I am seeing. This is the situation
where we can understand that we are in simulation from our real life experience
and can understand and analyse what and all is going on in that simulation.
Now, this girl Dimple gets scared of a certain event triggered by her
unconcious inrder to scare her. And our girl freaks out, in physical behaviour
she changes her pose of sleep or she sweats. And the Dimple that is still
concious in the sleep analyses that it is just a dream and still she gets
scared of the simulation tries to face it which reflects on the dream resulting
the "sleepy girl" Dimpleto act to resist her fear and to walk through
the lane down the road. Dimple has known all her life that the lane was scary
and she has walked through the main road where vehicles honk and street lights
glow. For her the target to overome will be to wlak through the lane only. So
the next time our girl has to walk through the dark lane her senses would be
firing to stay aware and she will be confident enough inside to face the
journey through the lane.

Some fears are
internal fears, such as fear of losing someone, fear of kicking a ball, fear of
climbing. In other words people fear to do ceertain work or fear of certain
situations. In certain cases termed as Phobia.
For instance, a
person Amy is afraid to be isolated(not in compartments) but in a position in
life. ‘Any’ is the same person but in her dream(a dream-self). Whenever
she faces any kind of rejection or
lonliness or separation from her group or friends she undergoes an isolated
phase.
Now, Amy goes to
sleep and dreams a neverending dream and creeps. In her dream she sees others
minimising in size while parting far away from her. As she fears this situation
even after knowing that she is dreaming this moment her concious mind becomes
numb and sees the same. Because of this her fear of others leaving her
emphasizes and her brain registers a bad experience about “separation”(or
synonyms of the same). So whenever she faces this type of ituation in real life
she simulates the same moment with her dream and the same stimuli works for her
brain in reacting the same while she was dreaming- sweating, uncomfortable, and very importantly
‘numb’, that part that her concious mind reacted when she was dreaming.
Now, you might be
thinking how this phobia demolished in the first place? The initialisation of
it was not that difficult, say in Amy’s case her best-friend had move away
abroad for her father’s transfer when both were little. That delicate memory
was churned in sleep and weaved an even bigger imagination in mind, which then
Amy compared relevance in real lfe and Any weaved even bad imagination that
then reflected back to Amy’s life and exaggerated by Any.
So, is there a
treatment? A solution? Ofcourse there’s. It may seems difficult to you if you
are Amy. As in this type of cases you see both persons Amy and Any reflect on
each other’s personality. One has to approach many people to associate with
others to break through the isolated situation which will effect Any to weave a
rather easy situation in that department.
